Photographic Solutions Eclipse Optic Cleaning Solution, 0.5 oz

Eclipse Optic Cleaning Solution can effectively and safely clean digital sensors and optics with its fast-drying formula. It is the recommended cleaner for CCD and CMOS sensor cleaning when used with Sensor Swab Utlra digital sensor cleaner. And, when paired with PEC*PAD non-abrasive wipes, Eclipse is the optimal choice for cleaning lenses and filters. This lens cleaner has the highest purity and allows for targeted cleaning of specific dirty areas, eliminating any "hazy swirls".

While Eclipse optic cleaning fluid is safe with proper cleaning technique, it can remove the coating with prolonged cleaning and aggressive pressure. This is due to the pure concentration of methanol in the solution. Aeroclipse digital sensor cleaning fluid, to render it non-flammable, has considerably less methanol and is safe under all normal circumstances and proper technique.

Directions for sensor cleaning with Sensor Swab ULTRA digital sensor cleaning cleaner:

1. Blow off loose dust with Orbit HEPA blower or brush.
2. Dispense several drops onto one of our swabs.
3. With one side of the swab, firmly drag it across the sensor.
4. Repeat in opposite direction using the clean side of the swab.
5. Discard swab after use.
6. If necessary, use a new swab.

Directions for cleaning critical optics:

1. Simply dispense several drops onto a clean, folded pad.
2. Wipe the surface until the dirty area has been covered.
3. Then slide the pad off the glass at an edge rather than lifting from the center of the surface.
4. Refold the pad to expose a clean side and re-wipe as necessary.
5. If streaks remain, use a clean pad and re-wipe as necessary.
6. Some experimentation may be required. Please note that other lens tissues may not work as well.

PEC*PADs non-abrasive wipes are not made from the same materials that are used in SENSOR SWAB ULTRA digital sensor cleaner, the swabs are manufactured and sealed in a clean and sterile environment; therefore, the swabs are the ultimate in purity.
