We envisioned them to be durable enough to accompany you on your photographic journeys for decades with a minimalistic and timeless design that will stand the test of time. The outcome of our vision is a truly unique product and a perfect companion for every photographer – the Leica Rope Strap.

About the material

When you manufacture camera straps, choosing the right material is key. Designed to carry the cameras of adventurous people during their photography endeavors, our Leica Rope Straps just had to be made of a robust material that has proven its durability under extreme stress. So what better material could you think of then high-quality mountaineering rope? The heavy-duty material ensures the safety of your camera, while providing a rugged yet stylish look. The end pieces are made of vegetable-tanned Italian leather and are firmly sewn onto the wear-resistant climbing rope by hand. The Leica Rope Straps are available with two different fastening options: you can choose between SO straps or solid metal rings.

Hand-made in Hungary

There is something fascinating about hand-made products. You can literally feel the love and dedication that flows into the creation of those truly unique pieces of artisan craftwork. That is why we attach great priority to finding production facilities that meet the standards, we set ourselves in terms of quality, local production, and social responsibility. Our Leica Rope Straps are produced in a small family-run workshop in Hungary. Carefully crafted by hand every strap is the result of skilled workmanship combined with a passion for detail.
