The Breakthrough Photography X4 Clear Drop-In Filter is a rear-mount clear filter. Due to the changes in light path and focal length caused by using a drop-in adapter, filter glass is necessary to retain the critical sharpness of the system. Drop-In Clear filters solve this issue while minimizing any loss of light transmission. The X4 Clear drop-in filter also protects the camera sensor from dust and debris when a filter isn’t needed.
With a rugged dust and water resistant design, a rubberized grip makes the filter easy to insert and remove from the adapter. Each drop-in filter is color coded to make filters quickly identifiable. The X4 Clear drop-in filter is compatible with Breakthrough and Canon drop-in adapters that allow EF or EF-S lenses on a Canon EOS R series mirrorless camera with a dedicated space for A-type drop-in filters.
