A medium diffusion used for soft light effects. Manufactured on a tough Polyester base in a range of seven strengths.
Diffusions are used to spread a projected beam of light over a subject. As the light is diffused over a larger area, shadows will be reduced and some loss of light may be seen. The stronger the diffusion, the greater and more even the resultant spread of light will be. Diffusions can also be used to smooth out beam edges in tight spaces or when lighting cycloramas.
